A family-run flower shop and coffee bar in Oakland Park celebrated its 50th anniversary today.
Founded in 1976 (in Hollywood) and moved here in 1992, co-owner Taylor Fuentes said she values decades of local support.
🚧 Accidents
On Sunday morning, a section of the historic Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel's front overhang collapsed and the area was cordoned off with yellow tape and parking cones, with local fire rescue crews reporting no injuries and officials (cause unknown) yet to plan repairs.
A house fire on Sunday night near the 1100 block of NW 15th Street left eight residents displaced — fire crews arrived quickly, residents exited safely, and an investigator is determining the cause.

Ann’s Florist & Coffee Bar on Las Olas celebrated its 50th anniversary, having grown from a Hollywood greenhouse to a coffee bar and flower shop after moving in 1992, co-owner Taylor Fuentes said she is grateful for decades of community support.
