Sunrise's Erich Lachs said the standing water sits in areas engineered to hold it, and "it naturally takes time for water to recede." Sunrise resident Nadia Samad said Wednesday the flooding near her home had "tripled" overnight. We suggest skipping flooded roads until it drains.
