Fans waded out through nearly knee-high water, and some left their cars behind. Sunrise Mayor Mike Ryan said the water "is supposed to stay on this property," but seven inches of rain in six hours plus a big event was "kind of a catastrophe for a lot of folks."

If your car sat in floodwater, we suggest having a mechanic check it before you turn the key. Starting a vehicle with water in the cylinders can destroy its motor. Fan Jeff Berman's electric car wouldn't start when he came back Tuesday.
