The 5AM Fort Lauderdale team
If you're riding Brightline to Orlando, plan around this. The company suspended service between Orlando and West Palm Beach because of flooding and says trains will resume at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. WFTV reports the high water is in Brevard County, where flooding has closed roads, and that the company hasn't guaranteed a 2 p.m. restart.
- Needed first: water levels recede and repairs are finished
- Needed first: tracks, signals and crossings inspected
- Affected reservations: Brightline will contact guests directly
Trains linking Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach are running normally. We suggest checking GoBrightline.com or the Brightline app before you head out.
